A new quest begins...
Well, Single Table Donkaments (see what I did there?) suck now, so I've been looking to other games, foremost among them shorthanded NLHE. I joined Cardrunners & have been enjoying their videos, and running at around 4PTBB/100 at stakes up to NL100. I had one disastrous stint at NL200 and since then have pretty much been taking a break from poker.
Well, I saw this thread at Cardrunners and decided it would be a good way to jump back in the ring. Basically, 15 (or so) of us decided to see who could make the most in a month, starting on March 1st with only $1K. Everbody's putting $100 towards a prize pool which will go to the winner. If someone hits $50k, they win automatically, cause that's just sick. Since I plan on straight-up annihilating the tables this month, and have literally (literally!) nothing going on this month, I figure it's +EV, since, even if I lose, I will be inclined to put in more hours chasing that goal.
So keep it locked rightere as I attempt to rocket to robusto, or at least unbusto. I'll be posting screenshots from PT every day, partly so I keep an eye on them myself and catch any blatant leaks, and partly so I'll have sufficient documentation to prove it if and when I win. To kick things off, here's a screen of my cashier as of right now. I cashed out down to a clean $1000.00, and am starting with 44,612 FPP, which will not be redeemable for bonuses during the challenge.
